Sustainable productive activities taxonomy and circular economy practices as a strategic lever for companies - Evidence from the Ecosister project
The transition towards a low-carbon and increasingly circular economy requires significant investments: the financial system therefore assumes a crucial role in achieving a real change. In this context, the Taxonomy, defined by Regulation EU 2020/852, is introduced as a classification system for environmentally sustainable economic activities. The Taxonomy, used to improve transparency in reporting, is conceived as a tool to guide the choices of investors and economic operators interested in attracting green investments.
We are talking about sustainable finance, another challenge for which our companies cannot be unprepared. What are the criteria to determine if an economic activity can be considered environmentally sustainable? What strategies can prove effective? On what occasions are requirements expected and what opportunities can arise?
Confindustria Piacenza, in collaboration with the Catholic University, organizes this seminar to frame the topic and promote a discussion on the issues related to alignment with the Taxonomy and the circular economy strategies adopted by companies.
