Full Professor of Business Economics
Full Professor of Business Economics in the Faculty of Economics and Law at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart, where he teaches Business Economics, International Business, and Corporate Strategy. He is co-director of CERSI, the University's Center for Research on Entrepreneurial Development, and coordinator of the Bachelor's degree program in Business Economics at the Cremona campus.
He obtained his Ph.D. from the University of Salerno. In 2002 and 2003, he was a Visiting Research Scholar at the Kelley School of Business, Indiana University (Bloomington, USA), and in 2013 at the D'Amore-McKim School of Business, Northeastern University (Boston).
Since May 2016, he has been the 'Review and Overview' Editor of the Journal of Management and Governance, and since September 2019, a member of the Editorial Board of International Entrepreneurship and Management Journal (both Class A journals - ASN).
His primary research interests are in International Business, with particular focus on multinational enterprise strategies, drivers of internationalization and their effects on performance, and international expansion processes of small and medium-sized enterprises.
