Holds teaching positions for the courses in Financial Statement Analysis and Financial Communication, and General Accounting and Financial Statements. In previous years: Consolidated Financial Statements and Business Groups, Business Quantitative Methodologies and Determinations, General and Applied Accounting.

Vice President of SIDREA (Italian Society of Accounting and Business Economics Professors) since January 2022. Member of the Executive Board from 2006 to 2015 and since January 2022. Delegate for Relations with Businesses and Institutions of the Department of Economics and Management, University of Brescia.
Member of the Board of Directors of the University of Brescia.

From November 2010 to October 2016, Vice Rector for Programming and Territorial Projects, University of Brescia.
Since 2017, Member of the Faculty Board for the doctoral program "Business & Law Institutions and Enterprise: Value, Rules and Social Responsibility", University of Brescia. From November 1, 2008, to April 13, 2011, Dean of the Faculty of Economics, University of Brescia, and member of the Academic Senate.

Scientific activity has developed in the following research areas: Economic-financial and non-financial communication; Financial statements and national and international accounting standards; Financial statement analysis; Public administrations and accounting; Business crisis; Accounting education; Accounting and innovation. Coordination and participation in national and international research projects (PI PRIN 2002 and 2007).
