Full Professor of Economic Policy
- Full Professor of Economic Policy at the Faculty of Economics, Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Piacenza campus, since March 2005. Currently teaches Advanced Economic Policy (Master's Degree in Business Management), Macroeconomics and Economic Policy (Bachelor's Degree in Management for Sustainability), and Innovation Policies and Digital Economy (Master's Degree in Entrepreneurship and Digital Innovation - Cremona campus).
- Graduated in 1988 from the Faculty of Economics and Commerce at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore. Studied at the University of Warwick, obtaining a Master of Arts in "Quantitative Development Economics" in 1990. In 1992, earned a Ph.D. in Economic Sciences from the Consortium of Milanese Universities (Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Bocconi University, University of Milan).
- Since January 2022, member of the Board of Directors of the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore.
- Served as Director of the Department of Economic and Social Sciences from 2008 to 2012. Currently Director of the CESPEM "Mario Arcelli" Center for Economic and Monetary Policy Studies.
- Directed the Master's program in Territorial Marketing from 2003 to 2010 and the Master's program in Management for Tourism Development and Cultural Valorization of the Territory from 2011 to 2013. Directed the Master's program in Supply Chain Management and Digital Innovation (SCHMIDT) from 2018 to 2022.
- Currently Faculty Representative for the Quality Assurance process of the Faculty of Economics and Law at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore.
- Former member of the Ph.D. faculty board in Economic Policy at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore and in Management Innovation Sustainability at the Universities of Ferrara and Parma.
- Member of the Editorial Board of the International Journal of Social Sciences (Vita e Pensiero) and the Italian Economy Journal (Minerva Bancaria). Member of the Scientific Committee of Vita e Pensiero Journal.
- Member of the Executive Board of the MUSP (Machine Tools and Production Systems) Research Laboratory in Piacenza and the Scientific Committee of the LEAP (Laboratory for Energy and Environment in Piacenza) Laboratory.
- Member of the Executive Board of the Emilia Lab Association among departments and faculties of economic and business sciences of universities in the Emilia Romagna region.
- Alternate member of the Technical Scientific Committee of ART-ER.
- Past academic positions: Researcher at the University of Milan and at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore of Milan. Taught courses at the Brescia campus of the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore and at the University of Cosenza.
